Right now, 600,000 Albertans are living with lung disease — many more remain undiagnosed. That’s a reality we want to change. We are SAIT Respiratory Therapist Students and have come up with this challenge to help raise funds for the Powered by Breathing Fun! Walk/Run. This money will go towards organizing the event and help target our bigger goal of reaching 30,000 for The Breathing Space. The purpose of this challenge is to help people understand what it feels to be out of breath and how scary that can be. By physically blowing up a balloon in one minute with the purpose of popping it, will help to convey our message that we truly are "Powered by Breathing", if we can't breathe, nothing else matters. We hope you will donate generously towards a bigger cause and share this to your family and friends!
